J. Keith Moyer, LVRJ – Note Lawsuit I Filed Regarding False Light

I’m going after whomever “Frank Leigh” is for doing work similar to what I do and appropriating my style of work. From the General Allegations write up on Page 2 of the lawsuit, Paragraph 7: “Defendant and his co-conspirators cause the Websites to be created in a manner and appearance to create the fall impression that the Websites had been created by the Plaintiff.”

I am a full-time blogger, and most of the content on this site is my editorial opinion. Satire and opinion are just two of many forms of speech, which is protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The First Amendment states in part that, “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press … ”

I have facts and first-hand experience related to the subject matter I write about on this website. I think it’s important for citizens to be informed about the men and women who are the gatekeepers of the information they present to the public on a daily basis. It’s important to know who is making the decisions about what stories to report on, what information to include or exclude, sourcing, and specific language used in both headlines and within the body of stories.

These days, with the kind of divisiveness we’re experiencing across the country, it’s important to know the agendas of those who are driving the conversation.
